After a few months of tests and development of new features its time to bring the mayhem to the public audience. After over 2 years in development by a few dedicated people on their spare time we decided that this is what Age of Chivalry will be like. We have had thousand ideas and features that we wanted to put into the final product. But we decided that with the limited time we have and no funds to gain us more time, this is what we presents as our full product.

Team Chivalry will continue the development of Age of Chivalry and support the game in all ways. But we will not promise anything more than what is delivered in this installer. Although we have a lot of content almost ready that will be released in due time together with future patches/updates, its not something we will reveal as content that will be done.

With this FINAL installer you get a game that is fun and competitive packed together with a huge amount of content created over the years.

CSS SCI FI is a single-player mod for Half-Life 2. Using the latest version of SMOD, which is included, the mod puts the player through 27 intense combat missions set in Counter-Strike: Source environments. Each map contains a unique scripted scenario which is enhanced by random scripting so that the game is never the same twice. Players will fight everything from Striders to slave Vortigaunts, plus a range of Combine enemies armed with many new weapons.

On spawning into a map you can choose either Combine or Rebel forces. The server always auto balances teams and automatically switches you between each team on alternate rounds, so every player gets to play every map on every team, and teams are always as balanced as possible. The objective is fairly simple, there are 3 or more sections to each map, and the Rebel team must destroy a particular target before the next area is unlocked, until eventually destroying the final target at the end of the map. Areas remain unlocked once opened, and the spawn points will move on. Combine forces are only equipped with the AR2 and stunstick, as they have the easiest task. The rebels only have the crowbar, pistol and machine gun. All players can view an objective map in the top righthand corner, which also shows player locations, team status, and the position of the next objective. The rebel targets can be destroyed by explosives or gunfire from a distance, but take ALOT of damage before being destroyed, or can be destroyed quite quickly close up with the crowbar, but leaves the player vulnerable to Combine fire from behind, and fairly defenceless, relying on team mates for backup. The round is won either by the Rebels successfully destroying all targets, or by the Combine who defend for longer than the allotted time limit.
