Unpack your bags, we are staying in Miami. Crymod Member knizz1235 has a new house guest that brought this level into mod level status. Many have contributed to the map now Crymod Member VengenceBot is helping with level design. This level now has improved ToD, added vegetation and more realistic "CryCity" feel with emergency lights on some vehicles and helicopters. This level is practically a major city: theres a rough Atlantic Coast, block to parking lot, and a well known beach side strip to cruise. Theres also a TOD set ready for you to set the alarm when you decide to venture in these unfriendly streets. We are in the killing business and theres plenty of it in this gangs run the street version of "Cry City". There are lookouts in the houses ready to roll, there are custom vehicles and plenty of back alleys to escape. Don't forget to check your bags with Airport security, looks like they will skip the body search for now.

This is the first [00] Map Pack for Crysis which was created in cooperation with the official Crytek Modding Forum. From now on you will get regular Map Packs for your favorite game what includes Singeplayer and Multiplayer. 10 multiplayer maps have been chosen and are added to this Map Pack. Some of these maps are really special. There is a remake of the famous Far Cry map surf and it looks even better then the original map in Far Cry. Find below a short list of maps which are included. Features: It automatically detects all mods in the Mods folder and lists them It allows you to Launch Crysis or the Editor with the selected Mod/Levels in the list It will Zip up your seleted Mod from the list and make a backup with an incremented date/time stamp as the file name i.e I just clicked the Clivey mod and selected zip and it created clivey17112007 2320.zip and placed this in the mods folder. It means you will always have backups that wont overwrite each other and can go back and find a good working version of your mod. No external zip program required as its hard coded. It automatically detects all Maps in the Levels folder and lists them and allow you to launch a selected map in the editor or Crysis. Note: It will scan the map you select for a cry file, regardless if the name of the file matches the folder name. The system is a flowgraph that requires no modifications upon importing into your map, allowing for ease of use for even the most inexperienced modder. The flowgraph allows the player to pick up grenades that have been thrown by the enemy within a certain distance, adjust the angle at which the return will be dealt, and then toss the grenade back in that direction. I would also like to thank Triggerman for his contribution to the early workings of the flowgraph, and Dark Shadow for his last minute debugging and configuration. I have also included a screenshot of the flowgraph to give a rough idea of what makes the system function.

From the authors: Wiisis is a simple little mod that lets you enjoy the fun world of Crysis using your Nintendo Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers. Imagine taking control of the wheel in your LTV, running down grunt after grunt with pure satisfaction. Or punching that frozen crate into smithereens with a simple gesture of your hand. With Wiisis, all controls are mapped to your Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers, making use of all buttons and forms of motion. Everything: moving around in the world, jumping and ducking, punching and throwing grenades, picking up and throwing items, firing your weapon, controlling your Nanosuit, and even driving are controlled through your hands. Wiisis supports many other unique features, including use of the Wii Sensor Bar (not required) for higher-precision aiming, utilization of the remote's rumble ability, and extra game features such as Retain View Mode for aim assistance. Crysis Mod SDK Released Crytek has released the SDK. Which is good news for all the MODs out there. Now they can really dig in and see what the can do with Crysis. Quote: Dear Crysis Community, About 3 months ago Crysis shipped worldwide. We started collecting feedback and were confident that we would be able release our first Patch one week after the release. Unfortunately we underestimated the challenges and were forced to move the release of our patches and the full SDK to 2008. Since the Demo Release and the Crysis Full Release we have seen wonderful creations of art, design, movies from our community and talented teams have formed to create the next generation of Crysis MODs. We as Crytek are thrilled to see the talent, engagement, passion and creative potential out there. We always planned to release the MOD C++ SDK close to the Crysis ship date. To be plain honest we simply did a bad job, and I personally want to apologize for it. I know the community is growing on a daily base, whilst other members are getting upset and disappointed. We always strife for the highest quality, and sometimes this becomes our Achilles heel. Some of you might know this map pack series from FarCry already where this was a community driven project. We would like to take the opportunity to turn this into an official map pack that is being developed and approved by Crytek. :)
