Ragnarok Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, based on the manga Ragnarok written by Myung-Jin Lee. The game's focus is squarely on community, having players interact with each other and shape the storyline as they get wrapped up in Ragnarok's plot. The game sports anime-style graphics, featuring 2D characters on top of 3D backdrops, as well as music and jingles composed by TeMP. Ragnarok Online offers players two different experience levels. Character levels allow for stats adjustment, while Job levels let players pick new skills that depend on the player's assigned job class -- of which there are seven: novice, swordman, archer, mage, merchant, acolyte, and thief.

You play a young college graduate who has been given a large sum of money by your parents to set up a company. You start in a crummy office on the Lower East Side of town, and as you dabble more in the stock market and make more money, you can take a trip to the mall and buy things from a porcelain dalmatian to a new office. You have to be careful, though- one wrong move with your money, and you end up penniless on the street.

Make sure to get DOSBox so that you can play DOS games in Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux easily!
