This hotfix should only be used with Penumbra: Black Plague 1.0.1 and only if you are experiencing a problem using computer terminals in the game.

The hotfix solves the problem that all windows are black and empty when trying to use computer terminals in the game. The problem is known to only appear for users with laptops using graphic cards from ATI.

The updater will try and locate the original installation directory of Penumbra: Black Plague. If it fails, please manually navigate to the correct folder so that the files are installed into the Penumbra Black Plague folder. To verify that the installation has gone as intended, go to Penumbra Black Plague/redist/ and check so that the Penumbra.exe file has a newer date than the rest of the files.

Install the hotfix to the desktop, close the installer, go to the installation folder on the desktop and manually move the Penumbra.exe file from there to the original install of Penumbra Black Plague, overwriting the old Penumbra.exe.

This hotfix can also be used to fix Penumbra Black Plague in the collection if needed.

IMPORTANT: This update is only for the CD version of the above described game, Gamer's Gate users or users that purchased the game in another language should contact their specific distributor for details on the update.
