Today we have released a new client side addon for you to try out! It is called the Clan Mod Protocol and it allows you to join servers simply by typing their IP and port into your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera ...). You can also send a direct link to your server to friends and foes! Together with this new protocol, a new desktop shortcut is included. It's more advanced than the previous one, which you can now delete as it won't work anymore. How to get the CM Protocol to work: 1. Download and install from the right side of this page. 2. Visit clanmod://config. Follow the instructions. 3. You're done! Either enter a server manually ( clanmod://IP:PORT/ ) or click Play Now on a server in the Clan Mod server list We're also releasing the full, non-incremental version 3.02 of Clan Mod for client and windows server today. The client version includes the CM protocol and the new desktop shortcut. A linux server version will be available within a few days. Note that if you already have 3.02 installed, there's no reason to download these files. Big thanks to all the CM Protocol testers!
